The Hvoll Hostel not only accomodates tourists but also ducks - these cute animals are extremely curious and really wanted to know what Pat has in the boot of our car :o)
Laufskalavördur is a place where in ancient times people left a stone in order to have good luck on their journey. This has left a field full of cairns and tourists still continue with this tradition.
Close to Vik we found the beach of our dreams where we spent the whole day. At Reynisfjall the waves have cut a cave into the mountain and characteristic basalt formations are found again. The natural arch of Dyrholaey is also extremely beautiful!
