Osar and its specialities

Osar is famous for various things. First there is a seal colony of about 150 seals that spends its day lying on the beach.
Then there is also Hvitserkur, a rock formation at sea. It either resembles a prehistoric dinosaure or as my favourite old legend recounts: Hvitserkur was a troll caught by the sunrise while attempting to destroy the Christian monastery at Thingeyrar. As with all trolls caught by the sunrise, he was turned to stone.
I also made Pat climb up Osarfjall, my favourite place at Osar. It was real Icelandic summer weather.
