Weekend at Osar (7-10 Sept)

As it was my last weekend to have to Subaru I decided to go up north to enjoy a calm weekend studying and visiting my Icelandic family. Autumn has come over Iceland. There were beautiful cloudformations and colours in the countryside. I've spent the days milking mornings and evenings. Knutur left me one of the finnish houses so I had my own place where I could concentrate on my studying. Of course I spent my afternoons also hiking and just enjoying the country. There was a crazy north wind. When I was driving back to Reykjavik it got really scary because the wind was so strong it nearly blew me off the road - I am not exaggerating here. The weather can be deadly here. But it was worth it. And I could practise my Icelandic with Dedda and Knutur who doesn't speak English to me anymore.
