The West Fjords show all the extremes. There are beaches, if you did not feel the freezing water you'd believe to be on a tropical island. The sand and the colours were great!

Then we visited Látrabjarg which is not only the western most point of Iceland but also of Europe! On these cliffs many ships have vanished into the sea and many lives were lost. Today it is a great place to observe birds, such as the Puffins! These cute birds are a culinary speciality on the Faroe Islands.
