19th August, Holmavik

We were off to the Westfjords. The least populated but most beautiful part of the island. Of course we did not realize that it was weekend and we didn't have any food with us. So we tried our luck to find a shop at Holmavik. A small town up north. No luck - the big shop was closed and we quite desparate as there were no bigger settlements to come.

We nevertheless continued with through the beautiful and foreign landscape.
